Cryo Weekly Update #4 – Multiplayer!

Marshall/ December 23, 2017/ Cryo

Hey everybody!

Hopefully you saw my tweet yesterday, but if you haven’t already figured it out we’re moving our weekly updates to Saturdays for the foreseeable future. This puts the blog at the end of our work week and generally makes more sense for us.

So what did we do this week? Well we watched Russell Madness, the Air Bud Cinematic Universe film that features a jack russell terrier choking out a grown man.

We also made some big strides on the multiplayer component of Cryo. We had basic functionality before, but now it’s finally coming together as we add support for more complex interactions. Check out the video showcasing it below!

Those are two separate windows playing the game. In the video they’re both running on the same computer, but they could just as easily be on opposite sides of the planet!

Keaton has also been working on a whole new set of sprites for our structures, but they’re not quite ready and he already locked them away in the Runner-Up Vault™ so I can’t show them until next week.

In other news, a tech wizard from 1980 appeared and bestowed upon us an internet marvel. Behold the EMAIL LIST:
