Weekly Update #22 – Ooey Gooey GUI’s
We made some great progress on the visuals for Cryo this week. Most notably we started working on the look and layout of the different GUI’s in the game. Here’s an example of what the build menu currently looks like:
We’re having some troubles conveying information accurately and in an easy to read format while maintaining the limited palette look of an old computer terminal. You can see in the example above that the scrap icon is still fully colored which will need to be updated at some point.
We’re also making some big strides in figuring out the different types of room layouts and visuals we’ll have on the ship. We’ll make sure to share some more screen shots as furniture and other room geometry gets implemented!
